Angoon has a population of about 420, which means there are more bears than people. Visit historic Angoon...live Alaska alive for an authentic Alaskan experience.

There are several places to stay in Angoon while enjoying the great fishing and wildlife viewing. I have worked as a guide for both Whalers’ Cove and Favorite Bay Lodge, and pick up for daily activities at their docks. Both are full service lodges which include guided fishing and wildlife viewing, meals, and fish processing. Admiralty Suites offers a more economical package with quality accommodations but does not include meals and other services of the full service lodges. Regardless of where you stay, the fishing and wildlife viewing activities with Morry provide the same great experiences on the water. Let’s talk about your preferences and create an amazing Alaska experience to share with your family and friends.

Choose the best combinations of activities each day!

  • Saltwater Fishing for salmon and halibut, cod and varieties of reef sportfish
  • Freshwater Fishing for salmon and trout
  • Wildlife Viewing on land and sea for orca and humpback whales, porpoise, seals, sea lion, eagles, and Alaska coastal brown bears; marine wildlife in tide pools and along living shorelines
  • Shore Lunches of your fresh catch of the day

All activities via 22’ Hewescraft Day Cruiser with all equipment and gear

After a long day outdoors, there is nothing better than the great indoors. Retire to the lodge’s Great Room--a name not to be taken lightly.
